What I can help you with
You don’t need a diagnosis, the right words, or a perfectly formed story. This page is here to help you recognise yourself in the real, human experiences people often bring to therapy — from overwhelm and anxiety to identity shifts, emotional patterns, and the quiet sense that something needs to change.
I meet you with warmth, curiosity and evidence‑informed support, helping you make sense of what’s happening and find steadier ground
Feeling Overwhelmed or “Too Full”
When life feels too full, it can show up in so many ways — a racing mind, emotions that spill over quickly, a sense of carrying too much, or the quiet exhaustion of holding everything together. You might notice you’re more reactive than usual, or that even small tasks feel heavy. Sometimes it’s hard to pinpoint why you feel this way; it’s just a sense that everything has built up and there’s no room left to breathe.
Therapy offers a calm, steady space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening inside, and gently release some of what you’ve been carrying. Together, we explore what’s contributing to the overwhelm and help you find a more grounded, regulated way of moving through your days.
Stuck in Old Patterns
You might notice yourself reacting in the same ways, choosing the same dynamics, or falling into familiar cycles even when part of you is trying hard to do things differently. It can feel frustrating, confusing or disheartening — as though something inside you is pulling you back into old habits that no longer fit who you are.
Therapy offers a steady, compassionate space to explore what’s beneath these patterns. Together, we look at where they came from, what they’ve been protecting, and how you can begin responding in ways that feel more aligned with the person you’re becoming.
Loss of Identity
There may be times when you realise you no longer feel like yourself — as though parts of you have faded, shifted or become hard to recognise. This can happen after trauma, relationship changes, burnout, major life transitions or long periods of putting others first. You might feel unsure of what you want, disconnected from your values, or simply “not you.” Therapy offers a calm, compassionate space to explore these feelings and gently reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel lost. Together, we make sense of what shaped this disconnection and support you in rebuilding a sense of identity that feels grounded, authentic and truly yours.
Need a Safe Place to Talk
Sometimes you just need somewhere to speak freely — without being judged, rushed or expected to have everything figured out. You might be carrying a story, a worry, a memory or a question that feels too heavy to hold alone. In therapy, you’re met with warmth, steadiness and confidentiality. This is your space to talk openly, explore what’s on your mind and feel genuinely heard. We move at your pace, creating a supportive environment where you can begin to understand what you’re carrying and what you need next.
Living With Self‑Doubt or Inner Criticism
You might find yourself second‑guessing everything, feeling not “good enough,” or battling an inner voice that seems quick to judge or undermine you. These patterns can be exhausting, and they often come from old experiences where you had to be overly careful, overly responsible or overly self‑aware. Therapy offers a steady, compassionate space to soften those inner voices and understand where they came from. Together, we explore how to build self‑trust, strengthen your confidence and create a kinder, more supportive relationship with yourself.
Wanting to Understand Yourself More Deeply
Sometimes there’s no crisis — just a quiet sense that you’re ready to know yourself better. You might feel curious about your patterns, your emotions, your needs or the parts of you that feel hidden or unexplored. Therapy gives you space to reflect, make connections and understand your inner world with clarity and compassion. Together, we explore who you are beneath the roles, expectations and day‑to‑day pressures, helping you feel more grounded, authentic and aligned with yourself.
You Don’t Have to Choose a Method
Many people worry they need to know which type of therapy is “right” for them before they begin — but you don’t. You don’t need the terminology, the theory or a perfectly formed plan. Your only job is to show up as you are.
I draw from Counselling, Hypnotherapy, IEMT and Past Life Regression depending on what you need in the moment, creating a flexible, responsive approach that adapts to your pace, your comfort and your goals. And if there’s something you don’t want — like hypnotherapy, for example — that’s completely okay. We simply won’t use it.
Together, we decide what feels supportive for you — gently, collaboratively and without pressure.
