A Space to Explore, Understand, and Grow
Counselling is a place where you can slow down, breathe, and make sense of what’s happening inside you. It’s not about being “fixed” — it’s about being heard, understood, and supported as you reconnect with your own inner wisdom.
My counselling approach is person‑centred experiential, which means the work is led by you: your feelings, your pace, your story, your needs. I offer a warm, attuned presence that helps you explore what’s going on beneath the surface and gently move toward clarity, confidence, and emotional steadiness.

How Counselling Can Help
People come to counselling for many reasons. You might be:
-
Feeling overwhelmed or emotionally “full”
-
Navigating a transition or identity shift
-
Struggling with anxiety, self‑doubt, or low confidence
-
Noticing old patterns repeating
-
Feeling disconnected from yourself or others
-
Wanting to understand why you react the way you do
-
Carrying experiences you’ve never had space to unpack
Counselling gives you room to explore these experiences safely and without judgement.

Person Centered
You are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you — offering presence, curiosity, and gentle guidance as you explore your inner world. We work with what feels alive for you in the moment: thoughts, emotions, sensations, memories, patterns.
Warm and Attuned
I pay close attention to how you’re feeling, not just what you’re saying. This helps us notice the deeper layers that often sit underneath words.
Collaborative
We make decisions together. You set the pace. You choose what feels safe to explore. I support the process with care and clarity.
Emotionally Grounded
I help you tune into your emotional experience in a way that feels manageable and empowering — not overwhelming
Human
I show up as a real person. Therapy isn’t clinical or distant here; it’s relational, steady, and rooted in genuine connection.
My Work in the Community
Alongside my private practice, I volunteer with Suffolk Mind, supporting their mission to make mental health understanding accessible across the county. Being part of this community‑focused organisation keeps me connected to wider wellbeing work and reinforces my commitment to compassionate, ethical, person‑centred support.
This experience enriches my therapeutic practice and ensures I stay grounded in real‑world mental health needs.

What Sessions Are Like
Each session is a calm, confidential space where you can:
Talk openly about what’s going on
Explore feelings you’ve been carrying alone
Notice patterns and emotional responses
Build inner resources and self‑understanding
Develop a stronger, kinder relationship with yourself
There’s no pressure to perform or “get it right”. You don’t need to arrive with a plan. We follow what feels important for you in the moment.

Who I Work With
I support adults who value depth, reflection, and a gentle but honest approach. Many of my clients are navigating:
-
Anxiety or emotional overwhelm
-
Stress and burnout
-
Relationship or family challenges
-
Identity shifts or life transitions
-
Low self‑esteem or self‑criticism
-
Trauma‑related patterns
-
Feeling stuck or disconnected
If you’re someone who wants to understand yourself more fully and move toward a more grounded, confident version of you, you’ll feel at home here
Integrative Support
Alongside counselling, I also offer hypnotherapy and IEMT, which can complement the work when appropriate. We’ll always discuss options together — nothing is imposed, and you choose what feels right.
Your Next Step
If you’re curious about counselling or wondering whether it might help, you’re welcome to reach out. There’s no pressure to commit — just a chance to explore what support could look like for you.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. When you’re ready, I’m here.

I found Vicky’s honest, direct and pragmatic approach very grounding. During the initial consultation, her friendliness provided a warm and welcoming environment, so much so that I felt comfortable sharing my insecurities and anxieties with her

I felt Vicky really listened to me and too the time to understand my struggles and goals. Her sessions were amazing and personal and I felt light and positive after a session.
